Rectangle, thermometer 2020 
 
The COVID-19 pandemic has killed so many people globally. Nowadays, protecting gears like a face mask, sanitizer has become a necessity in our daily life. Particularly, a thermometer is the most important product at this moment that able to measures invisible and potential risks to protect you and your loved ones from danger. The rectangle is a thermometer design that can easily measure body temperatures. It is a non-contact thermometer which much safer than a contact one due to the current pandemic situation.

The project developed from the findings of the best grip of the usage. It started with a simple cylinder design.

‌I bent it and put another stick on it to enhance the grip and it became to have a proper shape to hold.
‌

‌It's done by a plastic injection molding process, 2 sliders for inner surface and cavity, core for the outer. After injection, caps are assembled by the ultrasonic process.
‌

Apparently, the design is simple and clear. to inject enjoyment into the coffee brewing and watching. Although practical and functional in its purest sense, the collection which consists of a coffee dripper, spoon, jug, and cup does by no means lack design thinking and aesthetic consciousness.
